Headquartered in Kolkata, the Company began its Export division in the year 1993 after which it started retail operations domestically within India.

Vikram Tantia is a visionary entrepreneur who has graduated with Bachelors in Science from the prestigious St. Xavier College in Kolkata, India. After working in the chemical industry, Vikram realized his passion for textile and design which led him to establish his own export business in 1993. Today Globe has completed 25 years of operations due to his diligence and hands-on attitude.
Yashraj is a versatile number cruncher. He has been educated in the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore after which he attained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Goizueta Business School at Emory University. His relentlessness and organized attitude reflects in his work at Globe (India) Limited
Vishwanath Tantia has been a part of several industries in his business career. He has worked in the vegetable oil and washing soap industry where he pioneered the operations of two major factories in Kolkata, India. He holds a Masters in Commerce from Calcutta University and is an avid golfer

Ethical Living
Globe (India) Limited believes that giving back to society is only way to grow. Our corporate social responsibility programme revolves around vocational training rather than simple charity. We have collaborated with a Non-Profit Organisation, Sreejoni Basha, that aims to teaches women in Kolkata, India to weave and stitch cloth.
Our collaboration is such that we donate Rs. 1 for every 2 meters of cloth that we sell. We also donate all the remaining cut pieces of samples as raw material to the organisation.
